I am a LEADER
At Aditya Birla World Academy, my leadership journey began as Vice House Captain followed by school captain, where I helped organize house events and encouraged students to participate, fostering camaraderie and team spirit. Whether it was preparing for competitions or representing the school at official functions, I embraced each responsibility fully.
I was also a core member of Happy Place, an initiative raising awareness about mental health. These leadership roles shaped my ability to work with diverse teams, foster community, and manage large-scale events—all while balancing academics and personal growth.
My Journey

My journey in leadership began at Aditya Birla World Academy, where I had the privilege of serving as both School Captain and Vice House Captain. It started with a deep-rooted desire to contribute to the school community and grew into an experience that shaped my understanding of teamwork, responsibility, and leadership.

As School Captain, I worked closely with the student council, helping to organize events and activities that brought students together. From planning inter-house competitions to school-wide events, I collaborated with the Head Boy, Head Girl, and our principal to ensure everything ran smoothly. I motivated my peers to participate actively, always focusing on creating a sense of camaraderie and team spirit. Being in this position gave me the opportunity to represent my school at official functions throughout the academic year. It was an honor to stand up for our community, and I took great pride in ensuring our school was represented positively at every event.

Before becoming School Captain, I served as Vice House Captain, a role that helped me hone my leadership skills. I assisted in organizing house events and encouraged fellow students to take part, working closely with our House Captain to prepare for competitions. This experience taught me the importance of collaboration and communication, which became invaluable in my later role as School Captain.

One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was being a core member of Happy Place, an event aimed at spreading awareness about mental health issues. In 2023, the theme was "Mind over Mirror," focusing on body positivity. As part of a team of just eight students selected from a batch of 120, I was responsible for the logistics and planning of eight different competitions. We invited over 500 students from across India to participate, and seeing our hard work come to life was incredibly rewarding.

These leadership roles allowed me to grow not just as a leader but also as an individual.
