I am an ORGANIZER

At Aditya Birla World Academy, my leadership journey began as Vice House Captain, where I helped organize house events and encouraged students to participate, fostering camaraderie and team spirit. This role grew into being appointed School Captain, where I worked closely with the student council and school administration, ensuring smooth execution of school-wide activities. Whether it was preparing for competitions or representing the school at official functions, I embraced each responsibility fully.

I was also a core member of Happy Place, an initiative raising awareness about mental health. In 2023, our theme, "Mind Over Mirror," focused on body positivity. Managing logistics and overseeing eight competitions for over 500 students from schools across India was a rewarding experience. These leadership roles shaped my ability to work with diverse teams, foster community, and manage large-scale events—all while balancing academics and personal growth.

My Journey

My involvement with the Aditya Birla Model United Nations (ABMUN) began as Deputy Head of the organizing committee, a role I held for two years. This was my first experience managing such a large-scale event, and it was both a challenge and an opportunity for growth. I oversaw the logistics, security, and financial aspects of the conference, ensuring that every detail was meticulously planned. We hosted 300 delegates, and it was my responsibility to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for everyone involved. I led a dedicated organizing team of around 50 students, working closely with each department to ensure that everything from delegate registration to event security was flawlessly executed. Through this role, I learned how to navigate challenges, solve problems on the spot, and lead a large group toward a common goal.

After two years as Deputy Head, I was given the opportunity to lead the organizing committee for Junior ABMUN and Senior ABMUN in 2024. Stepping into this position was a natural progression, but it also came with greater responsibilities. I now had a team of 70 students to manage, and we were hosting 350 delegates, making the event even larger and more complex. Once again, I took charge of the security, logistics, and financial planning, ensuring that every aspect of the MUN ran smoothly. Coordinating such a large team and managing various departments—each with its own unique challenges—was an incredibly rewarding experience.

The highlight of my time with ABMUN was seeing the impact it had on participants. We weren’t just hosting an event; we were creating a platform for meaningful debate, diplomacy, and learning. Each year, the MUN grew in scope and ambition, and I’m proud of the role I played in making that happen.
